This weekend we drove up to Branson with Grandma and Grandpa Bodily. What a beautiful day! We lucked out and had fabulous weather, great Fall colors and fun things to see. We walked around the Branson Landing, along the river, and ended with a scenic ride on the Branson railway. The girls had a great time running around, being outside and the grown-ups enjoyed the leisurely stroll (although more than we were used to, so our legs said the next day!) in the sunshine. The train ride was fun. Most of us had never been on a train before, so sitting in the glass-topped train car was exciting. Swaying back and forth, scouring the trees for wildlife, holding our breath over the 135 ft. drop of the trestles, zooming through the dark, dark tunnels... it was a great time!
Sounds like you had a great time! I bet it was so good to have your Mom and Dad out for a visit! It looks like the perfect time of year for an outing like that! We have wanted to come out and visit Branson. Is it worth it? Fun to see all your pics, glad I can get on your blog again.

sounds like fun! i got your quilt squares, they are so great! i started mine a few weeks ago, but took a little break to finish my book for book club. come tommorow, i'll be hammering away at those things!
